Super Bowl XLII

So I am going to finally face the music and write about the Super Bowl that happened almost 48 hours ago. I figure that would be the best since a: my scoring prediction was bad off, and b: the pats lost which i thought would not happen. One thing I can be happy about is that the Pats did lose and the 72 Dolphins are still in the history books as the flawless group of perfection. My Dad is so proud I am sure. So Pats fans, sorry, the Giants by all means on Sunday were the better team. They came out and did what they had to do, shut Brady down and held the possesion of the ball so Brady could not get into a rhythem. Now, I do believe a couple bad calls helped the matter. I think we have all heard of that so I am not going to get into that part. All and all, maybe one of the best Super Bowls ever, and with defense so tight on both sides, it made the game better than the commercials for once. And Tom Petty, man, he still has it. Didn't that make you proud to be an American. Now, I wish I was a rich guy and would have been able to bet on the Giants, there is alot of richer people in the world right now. Just betting against the spread would have made me some money. So I think I will end with Super Bowl XLIII, Miami 13-San Fransico 7, now i was kidding, lets be serious, with the 10-1 odds that NYG will be back, I won't go that way, but I think New England vs. New Orleans. There I said it, mark it down and I will say told you so on January 31st 2009.

Hi Jason it's your cousin Ryan! I really enjoyed the super bowl and I agree, some real money was probably made betting on the Giants! I think the Giants did what they had to do and buckled down on defense. I've heard what people say about the calls but when it comes down to it, what game have you seen where calls haven't been blown. I liked it better that they let them play in stead of blowing the whistle every 5 seconds. Besides, how many times this season did the Pat's benefit from some lop sided and down right loopy calls? I think the Giants just got the job done a little better and the Pats found out just how hard it is to actually achieve perfection.
